Where technology began
Where painting began
Yes in caves
We started our own fire
We dwell with the wild

We are with thick heart
Very strong and daring
They have tried to wipe us
With strong weapons
With harsh conditions
With human right
With rules and laws
With man-made diseases
With philanthropic means
But we are getting stronger always
We have stick to our call
A call to be Africans
Don't temper with our norms
We made them rich
By working on their plantation
Without us they would be poor
The best comes from Africa
Yes men with courage
Men with strength
Men with conscience
Men with opulence
