Life is a race: francispoems

An adage to erase
Life is a race
Such a frantic race
For those in a race
We accrue our rate
To measure our mate
And accord them apace
But I will master this pace
To persue this trace
In this Phrenetic maze.

In this life I knew
Nothing comes new
The blazing sun so high
Wakes brightly the sky
What a beautiful sigh
But creeps in horizon's belly so shy
The dusk sink him him to die
A routine to comply

So we racing to where?
Where? Somewhere,no where
Sad to partake this fomo
We aren't willing to forgo
Morning smiles bid goodbye
Evening coals wrinkle dry
And we forever sleep abate
What a frantic race
For those in a race..
